St. Ann’s college as it is a women’s college it gives at most importance to gender sensitivity, gender equality and women empowerment. College conducts programs to the students with the help of the police department (SHE team) on women safety. College also conducted programs with the help of NGO AIDWA (All India democratic women’s association) Gajuwaka branch on role of women and equal rights for women.

ID cards are issued to the students and staff to prevent the entry of outsiders into the college premises. 

The college is the safest place for the students and the faculty as the campus is monitored by CC T.V surveillance. There are cameras in all the labs, library and all the gates. The outsiders, who are coming to the campus are also checked by the security.

Grievances regarding issues effecting students’ rights and security is addressed with utmost priority. Suggestion boxes are placed in the corridors so that students who do not wish to revel their identity can share their concern.

In case the student needs to leave early from the college premises prior intimation required from parent and permission from principal.

Principal and senior teacher can easily monitors the corridors of all floors of the building, classrooms, playground, canteen, laboratories hostel and library.

There are three exit doors for the time of any emergency. There are fire extinguishers installed in the campus for any mishap.

To safe guard the interests of the girls of the college; a separate common room facility has been   facilitated with lavatory. Indoor game facilities are available. It is a self-contained common room and with newspapers and magazines for the girls ‘students to read and relax and also provided with a bed for taking rest.

In case of any health emergency, the students are taken to St. Ann’s JM Hospital, which is attached to the campus.
