The Governing Body (GB) of St. Ann’s College Malkapuram is the highest decision making and policy forming authority of the college. It consists of seven members. As per the directions of the University the Governing Body was constituted. The President of the GB is the President of the parent body, St.Ann’s Education Society. The secretory is appointed by the President. The Principal is the Ex- officio member of the G.B. the University representative represents the teachers’ representative elected by the teaching staff represents the staff and an eminent educationist.

The Examinations Cell in an autonomous college is responsible for managing all activities related to student assessments and exams. Here’s a simple explanation of its roles and responsibilities:

  2. Preparing Question Papers: It ensures that question papers are prepared and maintained securely, without any leakages, while following the syllabus guidelines set by the Board of Studies.

  3. Conducting Fair Exams: The cell ensures that exams are conducted smoothly and fairly. This includes setting up examination halls, providing invigilators, and maintaining discipline during exams.

Objective:
To ensure smooth and efficient management of academic programme through the semesters.

Responsibilities:

The Timetable Committee formulates, finalizes and communicates the timetable of the Institution much prior to the commencement of every academic year. This enables the Departments to plan their teaching schedule with greater flexibility and well in advance. The faculty members are expected to undertake a thorough analysis of the prescribed syllabus and draw up a Teaching Plan. The Plan is submitted to, and vetted by, the Principal who discusses it with the concerned faculty member and suggests changes, if necessary. Objective:  The Grievance Redressal Cell has been created in the college to sort out the issues related to the students, develop a receptive and liable outlook among the all stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in Institute.

Objective: NSS Unit at St. Ann’s College aims at participation of students on discretionary basis in various activities of social service. The main objective of NSS is to make the students responsible towards their duties for their society, to work for the welfare of the underprivileged and derided.
